For some guys, the hiding of the cables is an important ritual of masculinity. There are even kits you can buy to help you. But to me, it is a big annoyance unless it is really done properly. I like my cords tidy and accessible. If they are run under pieces of furniture and/or twisted up with other cords, it really displeases me. |

People like web-based applications for e-mail and chatting, social networking, sharing photos, lots of things.... but i don't know if people will be happy about using web-based word processors and other applications that depend on server-side storage, the phobia being "what if there is a problem with the Internet and I have no way to access my paper (multimedia presentation, spreadsheet)?" But who knows, I guess. |

The reason guitar multieffects lost favor was due in part to their reputation for bad distortion tones, but also because everyone has their own opinion about good tone, and good tone is key. One player may swear by his Tele into a Crybaby, and Big Muff, and a small stone; while the next guy may prefer his Strat into a Fuzz Face into an mxr Phase 90 into a mxr dynacomp. Guitar players are different like snowflakes, and though it seems like it would be cheaper to just buy a multieffects unit, I believe it is more fun and rewarding to pick out the pedals you like and put together your own effects chain for creating your own killer tones. |

I don't understand why E.T. the video game is always cited as the "worst game of all time" and such. I liked that game. I used to play it all the time....

Dexter is, I think, a figure everyone can relate to. We all have times where we feel like we are struggling to just barely keep it together--trying our best to remain stealth and act like a normal person. That is what makes Dexter a compelling show. |
